V2 can offer advice to schools and has significant experience of working within Design, Technology, ICT, and Art, areas.

V2 also has well established contacts with a range of practicing professionals and established suppliers/businesses from all areas of the curriculum depending upon your needs.

We can help and advise on the strategy of marketing potential projects, working with clients and possible sponsors and helping to generate work streams to support the delivery and create awareness of a project.

Finally V2 can provide teaching support and guidance as needed to help colleagues delivering or setting up new initiatives within the areas of Design, Technology, Art and ICT.

David has first hand experience of being involved in initiatives within schools nationally and internationally. Some of these include:

 
  • 1997 Harrow International facility, Thailand.
Employed as a consultant to help with the design and development of the Design, Technology, Art and Library facility and provide direction for GCSE & A-Level curriculum delivery.
  • 1998 Chigwell School, UK
Employed to help steer the Design & Technology Department towards the introduction of the A-Level course, establishing the curriculum and defining human resourcing needs.  Also instrumental in seeing the introduction of Apple Mac Platforms into the school to work in harmony with the established PC networks.
  • 1999 International School of Toulouse, France. 
Fully involved with the design and development of the Design, Technology, Art and ICT facilities in a brand new build (school opened in September 1999). The school was the first fully lap-topped initiative in the northern hemisphere at the time. Involved initially as a consultant, then as a subject leader delivering iGCSE, GCSE and IB Diploma Design Technology within the Group Four Sciences.
  • 2005 St Dominics International School, Portugal.
Employed as a consultant to oversee the design and development of the curriculum for IB Diploma and MYP Design & Technology. This included the re-design and development of the facilities and assisting with the employment of new staff to populate the development.
  • 2006 English Schools Foundation, Hong Kong.
Employed as a consultant to deliver a series of week-long workshops to Design and Technology staff across all secondary ESF schools ahead of the post 16 changeover from A-Levels to IB Diploma.
  • 2007 Stowe School, UK.
Led the financial plan, design and installation of an additional facility to help expand the Design and Technology department.
  • 2010 Cranleigh School, UK.
Planned and led the development and interior re-jig of the Design, Technology studios, offices and CAD/CAM manufacturing areas and helped oversee the shift of the Art department into a new integrated Design & Art facility.
  • 2011/12 Cranleigh Abu Dhabi (due to open in 2014).
Worked with the sponsors, clients and senior management in the design, development and resourcing of the new build with particular focus on the Design and Technology, Art and Science areas.
 
  • 2014/15 La Côte International School (A Nord Anglia Education School)
Worked with senior management and NAE group on the design, development and resourcing of the new Design and Technology areas.
